A fine example of a high quality optical instrument made by Ross of London in the early twentieth century for use in World War One as a signal or sighting scope. Rare to find without cross hairs and lamp extrusion, the 60mm objective lens is shrouded within a sun shade and displays a clear, crisp image. The original lens cap protecting it when not in use.
