I could see Arlington House from the front garden of my childhood home in Margate

I sat in the shade and watched the people enjoying the heat and the seaside whilst fishing boats came in to the harbour

I made this print a while ago after a visit there as I just couldnt get it out of my head. It is a celebration of concrete and of the Barbican scheme as a whole. There are also splashes of colour such as the nice big tree in the centre which is the edge of the residents private garden and also the long rows of flower boxes on the balconies of the estate building.
