These outer layers are forge welded over a middle piece of high carbon and nickel steel known as 15n20. Giving this blade a total of 113 layers. It is forged and ground in the Japanese style known as SANTOKU. It has an overall length of 12 with a 7 blade length. It is 1. 7 inches wide at the belly. A full flat grind with superb distal taper.
