Army - 180th Assault Support Helicopter Company - Big Windy with Vietnam Service Ribbons- Mug 105 The unit was first organizedThe 180th Assault Support Helicopter Company was activated on 1 October 1966 at Fort Benning and were assigned to the 10th Aviation Group, 37th Aviation Battalion. The 180th deployed to Viet Nam arriving in mid November 1966. On 21 October 1966 the 180th ASHC was reassigned to the 1st Aviation Brigade, 17th Combat Aviation Group, 268th Combat Aviation Battalion and made their base at Dong Ba Thin. The Company had sixteen CH 47 Chinook Helicopter. The
