Late 19th Century Victorian Gold Drop Earrings 1980s ring Age: Late retro (1980-1990s)A striking pair of 14ct gold drop earrings that were made circa 1880 in the Etruscan Revival style. They are composed of a gold hollow bead with ornate detailing to the front (plain to the back) with a hinged scalloped upper section top with a silver coloured bead. They are finished with 9ct gold shepherd wire hooks. The gold is a lovely rich butter yellow colour. Excavations during the 19th century revealed the great Etruscan necropolises, which
