The first morning, I got up at 1am and drove for hours to get to the park well before sunrise and headed right for these dunes. It's easily the most magical place I've ever been for photography. The light caresses the shapes of the sand dunes, creating warm highlights and cool shadows and endless lines and shapes. It was physically punishing
