Three Storey Facade pipes Golden afternoon light cuts throughThe four storey facade of the Jembaicumbene Steam Flour Mills rises from a dressed granite base through locally manufactured brick, its central timber loading doors stacked floor by floor beneath a hipped tiled roof. Two metal star anchor plates brace the upper walls against the weight of the structure. Charles Dransfield built the mill in 1859, with engineering by P. N. Russell and Co. of Sydney. Part of the Mill Pond Farm series.
